|
|
I've just started reading this series which I'm really enjoying.
Most of them are still available, except for 19 and 20 (for some obscure reason which I don't understand) I've managed to track down 19 but I have no intention (or ability) to buy volume 20 for over £100 which is it's usual selling price now.
Any ideas anybody? |

Had a look round (I like hunting for obscure books lol) and found one down to £60, but still nowhere near reasonable lol.
Best bet is to either keep an eye on ebay (.com as well as .co.uk) or keep your fingers crossed for a reprint. That said, a trawl through a couple *real* comic and book shops might get you lucky as they sometimes have leftover titles that aren't available online. |

I don't think I have any near me at all. I'd have to go down to London and whilst I have the time right now, being gap year and jobless, I don't have the money for the same reason |

Just thought of something else - I didn't think that Basara had even been released in the UK as a title.
Wouldn't that make comic shops and bookshops obsolete or do they deal in imports? |

I said *real* shops.
Even your average Waterstones can order in US titles so it's not unusual. And places like Forbidden Planet are almost exclusively imports in their book department. |

I know I wouldn't be able to get it in through the bookshop I used to work for, but it might be worth popping in one day and phoning the publishers/distributors anyway. Thanks for all the advice though - I guess if the worst comes to worst I can always skip that volume, though I hate the idea.
When I'm next in London I'll have a browse, though I'm not there often. |

Bits but only because I speak Dutch. Not well enough to translate anyway...
Worth keeping in mind though...would probably be good for me! |
