Have you got Power DVD? I found the best results were with Power DVD on my laptop. It was just jerky then, no pixellation.

Of course you can always watch those episodes on the Funimation website if the dub is the way you watch the show.

Just tried to watch Slayers volume 2, same issue as Titan.

Even though i didn't buy it from MVM directly, im still going to email them about it, since it really does seem to be a mastering problem.

(and im cancelling my order for volume 3 - why? Well because theres no point in picking up any more volumes till i can watch the second, silly!)

edit - just tried it on my iMac, using Apples DVD Player software. Goes all pixellated and jerky.

You could always order volume 3 and simply wait until you have seen volume 2 before watching it, and as Just Passing Through mentioned you'll miss out on the pre order discount if you cancel, Any way’s while I’m on the subject I received volume 3 from Anime on Line a couple of weeks ago and it played fine.

Seems to be working fine on the player in my room! (which is a multi-region Sony i got a few Christmases ago)

Im not sure what this preorder discount you lot are going about is - already pointed out that i don't use anime-on-line.

Pretty much every e-tailer has a new release cheap on pre-order, then once it's released they will put it up a quid or two. Slayers 3 is pre-tailing for £9.99 on Play. Slayers 2 is now at £10.99.

HMV has it pre-tailing for £9.99 as well, but 1 & 2 are selling for £12.99 each.

Just need to check it on the other 2 players that had problems, and then i'll email Tony about it

The main reason I asked was because I recieved a copy today, but mine was just the disc by itself in an envolope so I assume what I recieved was a check disc.

Nah, the check disc is a DVD-R with "Slayers vol 2 Check Disc" written on it. The fixed copy is the vol 2 disc by itself.

That's good to know, thanks Ian.

Oh almost forgot I checked my copy on my dvd player, and my PS3 both play it fine now. Smile
