Bandai Visual are handling the US release themselves, which would usually point to beez BUT Manga have history with Akira so... up in the air i guess!

plus it doesnt have cute annyoing penguins, zoo animals, pets and or barnyard creatures, which seems to be all american cg animations ever do these days.

Advent Children is out on Blu Ray, to add to the list.
I just got a blu ray player this week, so hopefully there will be some more cracking anime coming out on blu ray soon. Hopefully, anyway. Might be a case of having to import if the dvds are region free.
But bring on the anime blu ray! |

Shigurui: Death Frenzy will be Bluray on the same day as the DVD, for £10 more.
I had the check discs pass through my hands.
Pesky not owning a BluRay player getting in the way.

Origin will apparently be out on blu-ray at the start of August, going by an ad in the latest SFX.
