Hi,
Nice to see a new face. Sorry I have no idea other than the obvious. If you can't get an answer here then maybe try the Neo Forum which has a larger membership, assumimg you haven't already that is. I'd stick your question in the J-Gadgets & Merchandise section. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

Sorry, can't help you either!
Looking at it I'd guess you're pretty close to the mark that it's a promotional thing. It looks more like a mascot or a signature style of a Japanese designer or something as opposed to a franchised anime or manga character.
It's still a guess though and I can't say the style ringsa bell despite it being so distinctive... _________________ My drawing blog and webcomic. |

Welcoem to the forums
To me it looks at little less japanese than japanese figures, givign the impression it's western made, y'know a set of figures in the "manga style" that a few companies have done over the past few years. Putting in a description of it in google hasn't yeilded any results sadly.
Stab in the dark, seen as it's such a clear photo (did you take it?) you didn't make the figure did you?
It's a conspiracy... _________________ ...

Thanks for trying to search it with google
LOL, no I didn't make it. Wish I did!
It does look like a prototype thing cos it looks hand painted. The box it came in had an address & I tried googling that but with no luck.
The mobile it's holding looks a bit dated doesn't it? So I don't know how old it is. All I know is that I got it in the charity shop I was working in, where it had sat there for months looking at me, and then the manager reduced it to £2.00 to get rid of it, and I said IT'S MINE!!! |

No idea from my end, but then I'm not really a model person.
I LOVE charity shops though! Whenever I go into town I go round all of them looking for bargains. All of the staff know me now.
Only anime I ever got in a charity shop was Vexille DVD though...nothing really appears in my local ones. |
