Is anyone else going? I'll be heading down as usual on the Saturday.

There aren't any anime related guests just yet, but I have a feeling that there will be at least one. I check their forums regularly and will let you know when I do.

I'll be there both days - I've actually booked a table! Fear my comic-making debut... Shocked

Basically I'll be rooted to one spot the entire time, but I'm nervously looking forward to it! Very Happy

That's reminded me... There appears to be quite a bit of engineering work planned on the London transport network on that weekend.

Information of note can be found on TFL's website

Notibly for me, the Jubilee line is closed from Stanmore to London Bridge, meaning I have to take a different route from Marylebone than that I would normally take when I come down that way (and given that there are engineering works between Birmingham New Street and London Euston, I'll be using the Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone route this time - meaning I'll be passing through Wembely Stadium station on my way home not long after the Division 2 Playoff Final has finished)

Also, there will be some DLR disruption, between Blackwall and Prince Regent. Custom House for Excel is between Blackwall and Prince Regent, meaning that you'll either have to walk a short distance, or get the replacement bus service...

Replacement Busses should be fun, given the amount of people who go to LX... Rolling Eyes

This seems to have happened at every Expo for the last few years... maybe they're trying to tell us something. Laughing

In case people want to see the anime related events, Manga have a 20-minute presentation at 11am on Saturday, and the industry panel is 11.30am on the Sunday.

Basically it's the first up for each day, so if anyone's interested they'll have to get in early.

Yeah, I spotted that, but hopefully Andrew or someone else has organised some other press thing again this year, since it is a really stupid oversight by the organisers to have only one industry panel over the weekend (on an event which in general repeats itself over each day)

Bit daft to have it on the sunday too, when the majority of people attend saturday, even if i do go sunday I wouldn't be there until after 12 so there's no point.

My understanding of the whole thing is that there is a press event on the Saturday too for everyone on the main stage, the schedule does not imply this though so let me look into it today and see what's going on. If there's not at worst case I'll organize something for those interested.

To confirm: There will definitely be a panel for us on the comics stage, which isn't in the ebook guide afaik, it's on at about 1pm, I'm having the exact time checked.

However there is one on both days so nobody will miss it at least this time! Or you all have to endure me for twice - if you want to look at it that way Wink

Thanks for checking that out. I'll be there as always, just for the one day, and we might not even ask about Scrapped Princess this time Razz
