Seriously, what is the point of twitter. 140 characters per twit, hardly an erudite way to get a message across, but now all the companies seem to use Twitter to get their news across.

And who the hell reads Twitter anyway. Thankfully someone does otherwise news like this would be missed.

Manga Entertainment have Mnemosyne: Daughters of Rin.

Remember, 4Digital Asia were going to release it a few months ago, but Funimation nabbed the title in the US and decided to dub it, which rained on 4DA's parade.

In the least unexpected news ever, Funimation's current UK chums Manga have announced that they will be releasing it here.

EDIT: Just to add that given Shigurui getting through the BBFC unmauled, it ups the chances of this surviving uncut as well.

Just read that myself on AUKN.. unsurprising given Manga's Funimation connections.

And I agree about Twitter. It just seems that companies are being lazy by announcing things via the site.

It does have uses thought - I was originally hesitant to Twitter until I learned that it could save me the cost of a text message when sending in my comments to Five Live Formula One Practice sessions... Razz

Other than that I view it as another Facebook or MySpace.. a way for people to make thousands of friends that they know nothing about and will never meet, and share with them the things that you shouldn't really share with strangers.

I have in fact met the majority of people on my facebook. Either i knew them already, or started to know them via forums and ended up meeting them because of that. :p
