A post on AnimeUK News is troublesome...

No more Revelation releases this year past Peach Girl.

Might have to get that box set then as it doesn't look like it'll be around for long. Nice price as well.

Chances of Manga picking up Beck, School Rumble and Suzuka? To be honest I don't see it happening... (wouldn't mind being proven wrong Wink )

Revelation started out so well, but their lack of experience in the anime marketplace really showed itself when they started delaying releases and expecting them to sell well.

I can't remember who said it, but it came as no surprise when we learned that their releases of FMA, despite being cheaper sold less than MVM's release.

I think Peach Girl itself sums up my feelings of Revelation - a 15 month delay between volumes is just not acceptable even in strange circumstances.

Not surprised. The nails were being hammered in place last year when they postponed a bunch of titles. All the titles I had started buying from Revelation films or was interested in are already out in reasonably priced region 1 box sets might as well just buy those. The only thing I see myself buying from Revelation in the near are the season 2 FMA box sets and possibly Peach Girl.

Bad news people...

The Peach Girl Collection has vanished from retailers, and Peach Girl Volume 6 is following suit...

I wouldn't mind them picking them 3 up.. or at least Beck and School Rumble (plus the OVA and season 2)

I can see Manga picking up Hell Girl, it's as much their sort of thing as Guyver was. I also get the feeling that Hell Girl isn't the most prominent of Revelation's releases. Certainly it isn't a title that springs straight to mind when you thing about Rev's catalogue. Manga could afford to market it afresh (Harder for Beck and Suzuka)

Also there is the Negima situation for School Rumble and Hell Girl, subseqent seasons and OVAs that Manga could release in their entireties.

I don't hate to say it, just import the FUNi veridian collections and all be done with it. It's just turned into a mess, Hell Girl, Suzuka, peach Girl, Beck, School Rumble. ebay your misc volumes for cheaps.

Unless manga annunce them soon the chances are goign to get smaller and smaller, and even if manga do pick them up for the half complete shows they'll probably go fro half or full season sets meaning you'll still have to get rid of the single twicers.

Or you could go and get the singles from Right Stuf. That's what I did earlier this year for Beck, Suzuka and School Rumble. Postage may be high, but the price for the singles, $4 or $5 each is pretty rosy.

I did get a warm feeling at not buggering up the environment by doubling up on the plastic. Besides the School Rumble singles have fridge magnets!
