|
|
I've just gone through Play.com's "coming soon" for anime titles taking us pretty much into 2010 and I'm really sad to say there isn't asingle title I really want.
All fall into eitehr the don't want or already have catagories, perhaps the only one I've got a passing interest in is gode gaess but that's it.
This will change when Mnemosyne finally gets a release date but at the momnet that's the only title I can really look forward to that I know I want to see.
I find this really quite sad. _________________ ...

We're getting into a stagnant period of releases it seems. I'm tiding myself over with Gundam and X TV while waiting for some series to start, and there are a couple of series out in November in America that I've got my eye on, but there just isn't the volume that there used to be. _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

Had a look, stuff I'm looking forward to:
Berserk Box
More Claymore
Sword of the Stranger
More Bleach
X
Not too bad, certainly enough to keep me busy anyway. _________________ My drawing blog and webcomic. |

There;s definitly some for some people but really it's pretty slim pickings for a good few months. _________________ ...

MVM are still to announce their autumn winter schedule though. There's bound to be some new stuff coming from them after Solty Rei, Desert Punk, Disgaea, Slayers Try etc all finish.
We've got X lined up for sure... Slayers Revolution will have to wait on Funimation dubbing it, so I'll guess next summer for that, Romeo X Juliet has finished its US release so maybe that will debut this winter. I know they are going for the older titles of late, but I hope they get something else that's new as well, maybe Moribito (has that been dubbed?) or something. _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

On their site they've got a date for Aquarion (October), but nothing yet about Blade of the Immortal.
Also more box sets in shape of Black Cat, Saiyuki Reload *shudder* and Witchblade. _________________ My drawing blog and webcomic. |

Still nothing,
I mena what's the chance of viz (via manga) bringing Nana over here, hell what's the chance of them even finishing releasing it in the US. _________________ ...

You should really count Claymore imo, it's just that you've got the R1s already... _________________ My drawing blog and webcomic. |

The Beserk box set and Claymore are really the only things I'm looking forward to looking at Play's release dates.
Then again looking at the region 1 release schedule we've got quite a few titles I'm interested in, many of which are reasonably priced box sets. |

true true, I wasn't going to wait fro Claymore, I'd also like Berserk if I didn't already have it too.
Moribito IS one of MVM's shows I'll be after when it gets a release date BUT if it's on 8 volumes like the screwed up US release I'll wait for the box set a year or so later. _________________ ...

Releases that I’m looking forward to are…
Claymore
Darker Than Black
Gurren Lagann
Slayers Try
Solty Rei
Witchblade Boxset
I will pick up Aquarion when a boxset is released. I will also be getting Romeo and Juliet once a release date is announced.
Edit: Forgot to add Negima!? and Code Geass to the list. |
