For better or worse the anime market is changing in japan and the US, but not really in the UK,

and as of late eyeonanime has gotten a bit stale with few uplates and gnerally less interest as well things have slowed down in the Uk to a lot playing by numbers

team EoA, well, the founders, are beginning to thing of changes

so this is an open question. reguarding all aspects of the site and about the EoA's future on the internet.

What's with the scarcity of reviews anyway?

It's certainly not down to a scarcity of review titles. October alone has 6 MVM titles, 7 Manga. September had 6 Manga, 4 MVM. Beez have the Gundams and the Code Geass and the Gurren Laganns, so there's no shortage of titles.

You're not, gulp, getting bored with the whole anime thing are ya?

Live Action Death Notes, Dororo, Cutie Honey, Kitaro

Cinema reviews. Ghost in the Shell 2.0 is coming out in a couple of weeks, and I'd love to read about how it looks on the big screen.

There's also all the freegal online stuff...

EDIT: That's more work and not less though, which goes against Toraman's statement about lack of time.

The only thing I can think of to counter that is to open up the site to visitors beyond simply making comments and posting in the forums. Allow visitors to post their own reviews, blog about anime and manga and so forth, although I have to admit that I suffer from the lack of time problem as well, and I wouldn't be all that forthcoming with the big posts.

Live action is somethign I doubt we'll go into, the odd title yeah but it's one of those flood gates.

Cinema reviews it'sa case of getting to them, anie doesn't exist on teh big screen outside of london.

The blog is open to the other reviewers, two of which haven't used it.

As for getting bored with anime, I guess i am a bit, as said in anotehr thread, there's nothing due out at all I eitehr haven't already got, or don't want. And as the main runner of the site, that puts me at a disadvantage to continue. All the reviewers have got piles of there own, so have I but it'sa tiem at the moment where we are all busy, well apart from Rob.

One thing I thought off was, more but smaller updates. And brining in a lot more in the way of screenshots cjaracter art and colour back to the site.

Ok I agree and here's a few of my new ideas first off lose the current page and retemplate.

ok here's a list of some changes I have in mind

1. video/audio reviews as well as the writen ones
2. more people alowed to post.
3. an expancean on Damo's Blog to mini artical
4. more blogie as in it's your words and thougth out there for other to read.

I have more but that the big one I'll leave them here for you to coment on.

I agree that online reviews is one thing to look at in the future, especially with Beez and Manga both looking at it with ever curious eyes. Not sure what else I'd suggest, maybe a random editorial article once in a while, similar in style to the dirty dozen. Things you guys like and dislike in anime, why you think Evangelion is awesome/crap/overrated (delete as apropriate), Why Beez should licence Scrapped Princess, What video games could learn from anime?, anything really!
