Think someone might have made a boo-boo somewhere as the Dai-Guard set's up for pre-order for £17.99 (the RRP's
£59.99 as far as I know).

I love this series. Get in there before they change their mind! (not sure if they can raise the price of it once you've ordered) Very Happy

I think I'll order that, do play honour miss-prices

I'd happily pay £24.99 if I didn't already have it. To compare, MVM's has it 25% off and it's still right up there at £44.99:

Nice. Let me know how it goes. Wink

The only time I've taken advantage of an offer like this was the Hellsing box in Silverscreen - £17.99! No wonder they closed down... Laughing

*turns around three times, jumping up and down clapping hands* - trying to undo jinx. Wink

Mine is still on order, the instant it goes up to full RRP I'm cancilling, and if they charge full RRP without telling me I'll play hell. Razz

Oh come on ... THE series I really wanna watch and BEEZ are fluffing up the release dates, if it wasn't for bandai's shoddy discs I would have imported My HiME already.

Is Dai Guard any good? I don;t normally like mecha anime but at that price I may consider it.

I like it (which isn't much of a recommendation! Laughing ).

The robot style's a bit retro and it's a little chessy, but that's part of its charm. The plots are not overly sci-fi as real elements such as budget restraints affect the story. (they keep breaking Dai-Guard as it's not a very good robot really)

It's very well-intentioned and friendly in tone with an optimistic outlook on life. Little in the way of really bad attitudes here like in various other mecha series - though that's probably down to the fact that most of the cast are in their 20s as opposed to being teenagers.

It won't change the world, but it's nice! Very Happy
