...having said that there looks like there might have been a rejig or something as there's info about the next batch of releases coming out on 4th June.

I've even seen a site which claims to have Case Closed 13 in stock so while things are looking quite grim, I haven't given up on them yet!

Gollancz lives!

Ok, so I went into Waterstones today ad they had Case Closed 13, Genbu Kaiden 1 and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist 7 on the shelf... what the hell? (Of course I bought Case Closed in an instant! Very Happy )

Also of note is a new print quality. The new volumes aren't the solid chunky things like the old ones. They're looser and more flexible, very similar to Tanoshimi's books actually. I noticed that the earlier volumes were printed in Chatham, while the new one is from Germany.

I think it's a big improvement and I'd like to think the two-month delay was due to swapping printers.

Just thought I'd mention that. It's really good news, I've just got no idea as to what's going on, lol! *confused*

Gollancz's site seemed to have been rejigged a little and it looks like their manga's still coming out. All the release dates have been updated and it's looking like monthly releases are on the cards if they can stick to it (some very optimistic dates of having 4 new volumes of One Piece coming out next month):

http://www.orionbooks.co.uk/browse-list-65/Manga

There does seem to be some new books out already as well, but I've not been to any bookshops to clarify. Amazon list these as being in stock for immediate dispatch:

Dragonball Z 2
One Piece 7
Rurouni Kenshin 12 (I neeeed this!)
Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist 8

The last couple months have been encouraging after 6 months of silence. If they can finish Maison Ikkoku I'll be very happy!

Today I bought Gollancz versions of Rurouni Kenshin 12+13 as well as Maison Ikkoku 13. No idea what's going on at their end, but the odd volume keeps on trickling out from them...

Bought Maison Ikkoku 15 the other day. It's the final volume, but as far as I'm aware Gollancz seem to have skipped volumes 12 and 14.

Really hope they backtrack and fill the gaps. Also hope they do their quota of the longer series in time before Simon and Schuster assume command next year.

Seems like everyone's lost interest in Gollancz which isn't exactly a surprise, but I was happy to pick up Case Closed 14 today. (after a gap of about a year from the last one!)

Still waiting on Maison Ikkoku 12 though to finish my set... Crying or Very sad

I'm getting the gollancz Dragonball books but they're always on three for two...and I can never find 5 6 and 7 in the same place.

I bought four books of Kenshin and I still don't like it >_< Does it get better? For something so popular I expected a little more..I dunno...umph? (Then again Fruits basket is popular...)

Dragonball has been completed right through to volume 16, maybe it's available online? Dragonball Z's stuck in the rut though not been keeping track of it though.

I've been reading Rurouni Kenshin and like it. I glimpsed the volumes you've got and I remember being annoyed at there being so many alternate takes in the earlier volumes which have nothing to do with the story. Those disappear later, but reckon volume 4's a good one so if you didn't like that there's not much in the way of improvement really. (I saw volume 14 yesterday but didn't have enough money on me Crying or Very sad)

I like Fruits Basket as well...

I enjoyed the anime a lot and so got into the manga afterwards so it's probably more that reason than the quality of the work itself. (it's not an amazing manga, but good enough Smile )
