What did you think of Dai-Guard in the end? You seemed to get thorugh it pretty quickly so I guess you liked it. Smile

Just finished Petite Cossette, just trying to evaluate my reactions to it...

Yeah I enjoyed Dai Guard, it's a fun show that's not afraid to poke fun at itself. It's always good to see a sereis where none of the characters are low on self confidence, everybody plays off of each other really well. I did notice, I think due to the quick watching that some of the character development is a bit sketchy with the supporting cast, one way one episode another way the next. Shirota / Akagi's working relashionship developes pretty well and gradually, but Shirota's aid seemed to jump around a bit. And Domeki is still a bitch to Ibuki mid way through.

All in all it's a solid series, only minor faults, ditinict lack of CG too - which is nice on occasions.

Super Gals - Season 2
It has finally arrived!
I wasn't one of the preorder-list people on the DVD, but I did spot several names I recognised.

Mines now shipped, it will be ironic if I get it beofre you.

The other night I finished off watching vol1 of Salty Rei, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, that said going into the series blind I didn't quite know what to expect anyway, but it wasn't what I got.

So I can't help but feel a tad dissapointed by it, the CG on the mechas was hidous in places (ep1) too much Burst Angel influnce, Burst Angel mecha designs should stay in burst Angel. With the AIC colouring and character design look, the Gonzo mechas looked out of place.

I enjoyed the bath house episode (ep5) just for how silly it was, and tnot one of the characters was annoying, I will be getting volume 2. Thankfully it doesn't have any FUNi LE's so I can buy it as and when.

Heat Guy J Volume 3 I just started watchin but I was having one of those days where something kept interrupting my viewing so I've seen one episode so far. Kia's (the musician dude) theme really grows on me.

Watched the first three episodes of Spiral last night.

It's a bit of an odd duck, and while I admit that seeing something light-hearted has been a rarity the last few months, I don't know if this should have been the one to take the comical track.

Was feeling ill yesterday (always during my holidays dammit! Evil or Very Mad ) and was in bed for the afternoon. It was nice to actually have some time to watch some anime. Was able to finish disc 3 of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (3 discs to go), the first disc of Kiddy Grade and Gestalt.

Not a bad day considering how tired I felt! Very Happy

Graphics lectures are insanly boring Razz
Lectures were the worst part about Uni, I could sit in front of a PC working from 10am-8.30pm but a two hour lecture, no way.

Speaking of falling asleep I accidentally watched the trailer for karas last night and fell asleep during it. I swear there's a subliminal signal being transmitted during playback of karas that just sends me to sleep.

I'd just finished watching vol1 of Noein, which is surprisingly ace!
