First was Kino's Journey for £6 each on play.com, now it's Rahxephon's turn:

There's too many cheap things dammit! I have already seen most of this from a friend's collection, but I'm still tempted. (it's take up too much space as well - it hurts my shelves Crying or Very sad )

save yourelf the movey and shelf space

Stick with the movie only, it's a condenced version of the series but better and with a few new scenes that help cement some aspects of the Ayato/Haruka relationship.

The series gets contrived near the end with an over attempt to be "evangelion" with it's ending, some of the timing for the story arcs is ill paced too, everybody hits there emotional breakpoint in volume 4 and it makes for bad viewing as it's overload.

The action is good however, and one episode in particular is stand out, but sadly does get condenced to a few scenes in the movie. ep19 in vol5

There's my 2cent

having said that RahXephon was my favorite series to review - I never ran out of things to say.

Thanks, I need reasons to not spend money! I might reconsider at a later date (or if there's a samller-sized box) but think I'll leave this for now.
