Ok that's probably not the correct collective noun, if indeed there is one, but taking a trawl through the coming soon section on Play shows a lot of boxsets in the near future.

The cynical view is that it's just a way for the companies to make more money from an old series but there's some decent stuff there:

Elfen Lied
Gantz
Last Exile
Otogi Zoshi

Plus a bunch of others such as Slayers which I know of but not much about.

Whatever the motivation it's nice to see more boxes being released

I think the sales from the singles die down fairly soon, so a box set is an easy way to get some extra sales.

The Slayers movies one intersts me, as ADV *here* have a chance to pull a one up on ADV US by includign the original movie and the OVA discs, *book of spells" and the other one.

It really seems odd to me to release a Slayers (non TV series) collection that's incomplete.

Also interested in Gantz and Samurai Champloo. Last Exile would be another but I have the UK singles in the r1 box already.

// Edit

Oh yeah and the 2 tenchi box sets, GXP and Ryo-ohki I'm hoping Ryo-ohki will come in the tin too.

I'd like to get these ones money permitting:
.hack//Legend
Wolf's Rain
.hack//Sign (first one's already in the post I think)
Elfen Lied (might get the singles as I already have volume 1)
Last Exile
Samurai Champloo

Also maybe the Tenchi stuff if I can get hold of MVM's boxes first.

It's a digipack unlike BEEZ's other box sets, really nice it is though witha lot of artwork, the info ont eh box is also on a separte piece of paper so once the shwickwrap is off it's all artwork. 6 discs too, liminality is on 2 discs (1 eps per disc)

Much resepct must go to BEEZ for putting Liminality with this reelase as you can pay just as much for the thrid .hack game alone as you can for this set.

Sounds like quite a nice release then. Smile Didn't arrive today so hopefully it'll come soon!

I've already got the first set of .hack games so I'm guessing the Liminality discs will be exactly the same. It's good for those who never got the games though (not sure whether that'd be a lot of people or not).

Look out for the fifth OVA .hack//GIFT which is in the exrtas of Liminality 4! Very Happy
