Just watched the first volume of the child of Azumanga Daioh and Negima crossed with Cromartie High, otherwise known as Pani Poni Dash! Absolutely crazy and lots of fun. It can be a little too much at times and wears a little thin in large doses but as a fun diversion I can think of much worse.

Maho?

Caught the first half of Nurse Witch Komugi this morning, and sugar me a giggle, I think I'm in love with Jocelyn Lowen's voice. The anime was a barrel of fun too!

We got them on Anime-On-Line's whim, so it would seem.

Yes, and No.

If you buy a DVD in the first month of being released (preordering, usually) you get it at 25% off - then they raise the price after the first month to RRP.

You should see a doctor about that...

I've been watching Noein Volume 3 of late. The series is getting good. Very Happy

The dubtitles are getting worse Evil or Very Mad

While there aren't too many howlers. They are not in sync with the Japanese dialogue, there are sentences for one-word statements, and random captions where there is no dialogue at all. Fortunately, the translation doesn't seem all that wonky to these ears. *Says the guy with the ten word Japanese vocabulary* Razz

But that second episode on the disc... I thought I was back in a Quantum Mechanics lecture. Surprised

Not watched a lot of anime at all over the weekend, I'm feeling a little burnt out plus everything I wanna watch is either in my marathon-watch list or hasn't arrived through the post yet.

So just another 2 episodes of Stellvia ending the thrid disc in the series.

Saw Elemental Gelade vol 2 today.

Much the same as volume 1, so if you liked that, youll like vol 2. Seems to be some hints at something dark abut Arc Aile (however you spell it) and what they do with Edel Raid's they save.

Oh and MVM messed up - by putting a trailer for Basilisk on the disc they got it a higher age rating than it should of. There was no bloody violence in the show, thats for sure....... was some in that trailer though.

Oh and this -

was funny.

Watched all the Episode 5s of the shows currently airing on Anime Network I recorded last night.

Did anybody else spot the edit in Elfen Lied? :S

Noein Volume 3 was great as usual. Manga really hit gold with this show.

Watched Highlander: The Search For Vengeance last night. Damn if it isn't the best Highlander sequel yet!

Ok, that isn't saying much. But it was fun. The story was engaging, and the characters were interesting. It caught the spirit of the original movie.

Shame it's cut. The US gets a special edition in September with the full 100 minute cut on it. I wonder if we will here.

Seen as I've been burnt out I've been exclusivly watching some anime I've wanted to watch again for a long time all week, so have been marathoning BGC: Tokyo 2040 all week (Started monday), the final disc will be tonight. And I'm also now upto eps19 of Stellvia.

It's not tecnically cut, in the sense of being edited in any way, it is the full version of the film that will be released everywhere, the SE contains the directors cut.

Watched the first episode of Pani Poni Dash. I've kinda come to the conclusion that random doesn't automatically make a show funny. Can't say I really like anyone in it and the characterisation's pretty flat as they're already repeating themselves with the jokes.

It's kinda pointless so far but there are still 4 eps to go on the disc so I'm hoping to get used to it. I really wanted to like it as well... Crying or Very sad
