That's a prequel isn't it? I was kinda hoping for a sequel |
yep and so was I, I wrote my review this morning, No Sei, No Amy, No Kyo, No Django... 25 minutes, not even like ova length of 40 minutes and to top it off RRP of £15.99 |
25 minutes? 15.99? OUCH! what a ripoff! _________________ Subtitles only!? If I wanted to read I would've bought a book! |

There are 2 hours of extras to ease the pain though. I dunno how you feel about a 90 minute precis of the series though. _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

well I suppose At least you're getting a good minutes-to-pound ratio there, think I'll be giving that a miss though _________________ Subtitles only!? If I wanted to read I would've bought a book! |

Witchblade Volume 4 for me.
An action sci-fi show from Gonzo which I'm actually enjoying. That hasn't happened for a couple of years... _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

Revisiting panda-Z vol1 as vol2 is on its way I gotta be honest if the music wasnt as good as it is, it probably wouldn't be as enjoyable. _________________ Subtitles only!? If I wanted to read I would've bought a book! |

Mixed views, having just watched some of it, it's not clear enough for those that haven't seen the series to make sense of a-la a truncated movie, but at the same time there was enough context per battle to potetinally spoil new fans.
Not to mention if you have the series anyway it makes it a tad redundant.
The character designer speical is also of mixed blessing as it shows what the OVA should have been - Meg kicking ass. _________________ ...

Compared to the Japanese release the UK one is a bargain
Saw the last volume of Guyver. Meh. Load of crap really - obviously left open for a second season that wont happen. _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note

Ick. The old OVA series didn't end either, so looks as though the franchise is doomed to never get an animated ending.
It gets further into the story than the old one if that's any consolation. |

Polished off Burst Angel Infinity last night myself. Well, that was a bit of an anticlimax. Could have been just another episode in the series. Fun, but not worth the OVA status. Or the separate disc. _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

FLCL: Volume 3
That's one short but sweet series!
Certainly glad that it finally made it to the UK _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

| Saw Batman Gotham Knight yesterday. Yeah it was alright. Thought the first chapter was the best. |

My thoughts too.
Probably needs another watch, imo. _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note
