It rarely happens, but when you do mail order frequently its gonna go down at some point I guess.

Item ordered: Naruto 1:2
What I got: Hi-De-Hi! 5+6 Box 0_o

Wasn't expecting that, lol! Going to try and get it swapped asap. Anybody else had the wrong stuff sent to them?

with which store?

That's a pretty big leap in titles too, unless for some bizzare reason they have similar barcodes.

*Touch wood* I've never had this happen to me so I can't help but usually they'll refund/swap if it's unopened.

Interesting. I have never got a wrong item from play dispite the 300 odd items I have ordered off them over the years... had duplicates a couple of times but never the wrong DVD.

I just got Fear and Loathing in LAs Vegas instead of NHL 2K7 (PS3) today.

What is up with play.com? Its not even something similar?! I could sorta understand if it was a different PS3 game, or a different console version of NHL 2K7.

This has happened to me on 2 occasions both orders from play.com

1. I ordered Mezzo volume 1 and I received Full Metal Alchemist volume 8.

2. I ordered Jinki Extend volume 1 and I received the 1966 world cup final instead. I couldn't help but laugh when I opened it.

most likely a new employee who cant find their way around a warehouse to locate the items, and just bungs anything they can get hold of into the jiffy to get it out of their to-do pile and to keep the boss off their back.
they'll find out who it is eventually.
cutting corners is one thing, but if they keep screwing up orders they're going to lose business
