Playing up the old shojo stereotype, there's often some kind of flowery imagery or something at more emotional moments.
What's your favourite? |

I'm a sucker for cherry blossoms, feathers; I see more as a bishi thing, those angel wings and all. whole flowers are good as long as they aren't roses. _________________ ...

I've gone for cherry blossoms as well. It's a sign that I like CLAMP shows I guess.
Escaflowne goes with feathers so I did consider that one for a bit. |

Cherry Blossoms are usually applied when the lead girl is called Sakura so far as I have noticed, that being what sakura means and all. |

Yeah it's true. The first introduction to it was the Tokyo Babylon anime though which I think was before any Sakuras started cropping up...
Falling cherry blossoms and nuking the Tokyo Tower seem to the their favourite past times. |

| Tokyo Tower definitely seems to have a hard time in all animes featuring it... |

Tokyo Tower has a generally hard time in lots of Japanese Science Fiction. It gets trashed in just about every single Japanese Godzilla feature that I am aware of. (I bet the people responsible for maintaining it pay Godzilla lots to keep them in their jobs ). |

Either that or it's just so unpopular as a landmark that everybody just wants it gone... |
