ADV UK have a range of insanely cheap DVDs up for sale, we're talking £1-2 each:
http://www.advfilms.co.uk/acatalog/SPECIAL_OFFERS.html
(the Madlax links don't won't from that list, but if you go to the main shop via the A-Z links then it'll work fine)
Ordered Madlax, Conduct Zero and Boogiepop and Others for £16! (already have the others otherwise I'd have gone for them)

Is this genuine i.e. not a mistake
I'll risk some series I don't know I think at these prices it has to be worth a go.
Went for Angelic Layer 1-7 and Boogiepop for £14.98 total. Boogiepop for £1.00
Just my luck that I only just finished buying/watching Madlax 2 weeks ago at HMV prices. Still a great series though _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

the question then becomes:
If they're offering deals like this now, what will they be offering at Amecon? _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

Not like im going (and its late now anyway) but im just wondering when it is (and when is it normally. Around the same time each year for example?) I might try and go next year. _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note

Well my 8 DVDs from the mega sale all arrived today.
Bet the postman was impressed at 8 individually boxed items all arriving at once _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

Mine wouldn't be. He's gotten used to me by now! He even knew where I worked (past tense) and dropped off a parcel for me there once when I wasn't in. _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

Got mine today as well. 9 boxes. (it's really nice packaging, but is one at a time really that cost effective?)
Really glad they came as I think there's another postal strike tomorrow. |

New titles up on ADV's sale:
Cromartie High School 1-4 - £2 each
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi 1-4 - £4 each
Aquarian Age 1-3 - £2 each
(And the Bento Box for £1)
Ordered Aquarian Age... It might be a bit too weird for some people, but I recommend Cromartie out of that bunch. |
