Something over at Anime UK News got me thinking about what a typical anime fan really is, so to get more opinions I might as well ask!

What do you see as the typical anime fan in this country?
Do you consider yourself to be included in that definition?
How much many anime DVDs do they buy per month?
How much anime do they watch on TV?
How many fansubs do they download in a normal week?
How many of those are unlicenced?
What about merchandise?

I'm leaving out that question, as it's my opinion that an anime fan's opinion on that matter has no implications on how typical they are, or at least, I'd rather we not get into that argument right now!

The ultimate anime fan articles are immidiately how I see a lot of typical anime fans, it's what spawned them in the first place.
