Argh. I can only go on Sunday - I have work on Saturday. Coming up with a friend though, so all should be fun.

As long as they've not replaced the trains with buses again like they did today Sad

Oh gawd not buses, I determine going on sunday on now difficult it is to travel on the saturday.

At a previous one we had to travel back via luton airport and a bus from there. doubled the joureny time easily.

I think it's buses for me all the way to Guildford (so not that far) then a train after that. Should only be about a 2 hour journey to Waterloo, so not that bad.

But ugh. Buses.

Then again...via Luton airport could be worse.

I'm a saturday person.

the route I took down last year is undergoing engineering works (Birmingham Snow Hill > London Marylebone) so I'm taking the more expensive alternative (Birmingham New Street > London Euston).

Good thing is, I can get there earlier going by Virgin Trains rather than Chiltern, meaning I can spend more time at the KOEI booth Very Happy

I nearly had a shock when i read that the Central Line on the tube was shut between Leytonstone and Liverpool Street Shocked

Then i reread it and noticed it said Sunday only. Fair warning there to anyone who was going that way on the Sunday.

No problems on the DLR at the weekend thankfully.

Given how crowded the DLR was in may, at about 10.45, it's a good job too. I felt sorry for the people trying to keep order, wondering why there were people dressed up like ninja's, samurai, magical girls, and schoolgirls waiting for the train along with an entire trainful of other people dressed in Tshirts with strange japanese logos etc..

Not quite as fun as the look from the normals on the tube, when a few ninjas got on the tube. (I was already on the tube, not in cosplay)

IF all goes well on the underground I think it's
kings X > bank > canning town > Expo.
for the rout we take.

It will be ironic if we end up on the same tube train, but I think we'll be ahead of you, we'll be in london by about 8.30-45am

Sheesh I'm turning up late compared to you guys.

I have to take a stupid bus from Guildford to Woking.

Guess I'll aim for 11-ish though might make it earlier depending on how tired my friend and I are from staying up all night.

But the earlier the better I suppose!
