Hello all ^_^ I am Toruko1984, i have been a member of this forum for a while but have not had the time to post recently ^^;

I am planning to start an Animé club in the North East London area, i need to find members or people willing to join the club and it has to be comfirmed, you wanna join or you don't wanna join...make a decision that will stick..there's no backing out!

I dunno how many of you on this forum live in London or in the local area of the club but more the merrier! I have found 3 places i can choose from in my local area to host my animé club ^^

I am planned to start in May, the reason being is because i am in my last year of uni and i am very busy. Also i started and running a animé club up in my uni too so when i leave uni i willl leave my club with my secertary to be president and getting my degree ^^ So when uni is finished in May then I will start the club! ^^

I need you guys to say you wanna join on this topic then afterwards send me your full names and moblie phone numbers by PM

Why do you need mobile numebrs and a definite confirmation, that kind of says fees are involved?

You also might want to talk to your Uni, "MUJS" (Manchester Uni Japanimation Soceity) which holds the majority of its meetings in the student union building has an arregment where non-univerity students can still attend anyway.

Fees are not involed right now, it's too early...all i need is people who would like to put their names down to join the club when i start it in may, i started my own anime soc in my own uni anyway and it has been sucessful, but i am going to run an anime soc in a public plae and the people who ask for the rent need the money so i need enough names so in the future when i start it i hope to get enougth people to meet the costs.

I live in London, but things are going so crazy right now. Most likely, I'll still be here for a while but if my job decides they don't want to hire me (I've been a temp for a year...) and lets me go then I'll be moving again..

Anyway, as long as it wasn't as intensely boring as LAC, I'd like to come! Though I might be busy on some weekends. (And there's the threat of not living here anymore...)

Ok guys it's almost May and I am asking for more people who live in the North East London or in the surrounding areas that would are interested to join my Anime Club when it starts in Late May/Early June

It will be called NEL:AMS (North East London Animé & Manga Society) ^_^

I need to know ASAP so i can put people down on my list.

NEL:AMS is a new Animé & Manga society/Club starting in the vicinity of North East London. People from all over London and Essex are welcome to Join.

The club will be showing Animé, gaming will be involed, Manga art competitions, talks and many more!

Snacks & Drinks will be available and the club's location has very good links with transport and close to the local pub and on the high street with Fast food places such as KFC, Subway & McDonald's.

The Location:

Fullwell Cross Library
140 High Street
Barkingside
Ilford
Essex
IG6 2EA

Room: Hainault Room

Max capaticy of room: 50 persons, will not allow more than 50, health & safety reasons, if society gets up to 50 people then people above 50 will be turned away...but if any future current member leaves the club then i will take their details and contact the over 50 number of persons to replace numbers within the club ^_^

Starting 12th August 2008 7:00pm, finishes 10:00pm then every Tuesday thereafter.

People above the age of 16 please, no younger is allowed.

Price to Enter: Depends of number of people who will turn up

e.g: if 50 people turn up and join the club, the fee to get in will be £1.90

If any anime fan in London can come, please let me know ASAP ^^
