There's a bunch of Miyazaki films on terrestrial over the christmas period.

Too tired to check properly but worth keeping an eye out for if interested. If memory serves Porco Rosso, Castle of Cagliostro, Nausica and Princess Mononoke are all on Channel 4 between Boxing day and the end of the year.

Is it really a good idea to have some of these films in a daytime slot? I can't imagine Mononoke's decapitation scene going down well over a turkey roast.

Pom Poko is one you don't want to be sat down with your Granny to watch Wink

Also Grave Of The Fireflies is hardly cheery entertainment.

Doubt they'd show those in a daytime family slot anyway.
