Lots of new items in the ADV sale.
Paleblack don't look as Kino's Journey is up for £1 per disk.
Loads of others at £1 per single as well.
ADV Sale
Umm there's some serious bargains in there, get em while they're still there I think. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

I tried to order stuff and then the site crashed. Nooo!
I must refill my basket as soon as it's back up there!

Probably the hordes of anime buyers doing an unintentional DNS attack in their panic to buy. Feeding Frenzy!!!
Strangely there isn't much there I need. Most of the stuff I might want I already have. May go for Last Exile but 2 are out of stock and I have 6 series still unwatched. Ack decisions decisions.
Did see Noir for £2 per as well. I have it but this is the first time I've seen it reduced. Has held its price for ages despite being 4 years old now. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

I was tempted by Last Exile, but the lack of vol.1 put me off. Got me Kino's and one of the Slayers films _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

While we're waiting for the site to come back up...
Out of interest - do ADV dispatch one DVD at a time (a la Play.com) or do they box everything together for large orders? |

I've had both.
I got 1 7 disk series in 7 boxes and another in 1 big padded envelope.
The envelope was the most recent for whatever it's worth. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

I feel as though a carrot's being dangled in front of my face, but I just can't reach it!
*bangs head on table*
Think I might give up for tonight as I'm guess not so many of ADV's peeps would be working this late... will wait for tomorrow. (if a couple titles sell out in that time it only helps my wallet!) |

Unless ADV have out of hours support for their website it may not be back until someone gets in tomorrow morning. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

I should be sleeping. I have an exam tomorrow morning.
Instead I am staring dolefully at my computer. This is not a pretty sight. |

Not saying they don't but having worked in retail IT the equation normally is 'will it cost us more to have someone on standby/call out than having the site down for x hours?' _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

The site is back up!
Note that I'm telling you this after I paid for
Kino's Journey
Madlax
Najica Blitz Tactics
Yugo The Negotiotiator
Excel Saga box
(I would have bought Excel individually, but V5 has sold out. £10 for the boxset didn't seem too much of stretch)
I was going to get the Your Under Arrest movie, but that sold out while I was shopping! _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."
