Despite having an RRP of £99.99, it seems like you can pre-order the Eva Platinum set for only £19.99!

Wonder how long it'll take until they'll notice?
Edit: It's still there, on the right side of the page just aboce the 'Add to Cart' button! I'm not going to risk it though.

| Boo! Looks like they've fixed it. (Can't say I'd be getting it anyway, mind. I have the full series in Platinum already but I don't particularly like it...) |

While I don't want to get into all of the technicality of such problems, it's not always the case.
In a highstreet store, if something is marked up at a price, they have to charge you that price, but only if the item description on the ticket matches the item you're buying. (a 1kg bag of sugar above the 500g price ticket wouldn't have to be charged at the 500g price).
The above rule however doesn't apply to online stores, and while some will honour lower prices, they do so only out of "goodwill" (or more likely out of customer relations). _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

And that only applies depending on the size of the slip. I doubt ADV would let someone get this for £19.99 vs £99.99, but if it was say, £79.99 vs £99.99 they probably would. _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note

Yeah, they've spotted the mistake and changed it to the proper price now. I wonder what would have happened if someone had gone for it? |

Oops I may have been taken a bit too seriously. I meant what I said to be taken as tongue and cheek not completely factual but never mind. I did however have a look at this a bit more and found out that in the past you could pay for goods at the price the label says if wrong, but now a days shops can say that the price mistake was human error and that’s the end of that.
This is not completely accurate but close to what I was told
Just one of those pesky loop hole that’s being closed. |

I think they always had a right to refuse to sell if they thought the price had been tampered with at all but they couldn't sell it at full mark-up. |
