Ever released, or rather scheduled for release in the UK?
Watching Najica Volume 3, I saw it trailed in the ADV Previews, but as far as I know, only the OVA, Mini SPecials and the movie made it here.

No, to my knowledge it has never been planned.
You probably saw the trailer for one of the other three.

Ditto, although it's said that the OVAs are episodes 1-4 and the first TV series went straight to being named episode 5.
It's an Animeigo title in America, so I guess only MVM would be likely to have real access to it (though I doubt they would as it's been as while since the last time they did one of their titles - was it Urusei Yatsura?). |

Had another look at the trailer, and it's copyright 1999. So I'm guessing it's for the mini-specials.
At least they were made that year.

Yes, the OVA is/became the first four episodes of the TV series, which is the sum total of what MVM released of the series. ADV licenced and released the movie and the mini-specials only.
It is a shame that nobody has seen fit to pick up the rest of the series for the UK since it is a fun show... |
