when impulse buying can packaging be one of the deciding factors to if you buy or not, I don't mean LE's artboxs and the like, I just mean the cover image of a stadard case, that first look you get when all thsoe covers are competeing for your attention.
example; out of these two, on impulse whcih would you buy, regardless of if you like or were buying the series or not.
Kurau volume 3 UK cover
Kurau voluem 3 US cover
If you have any otehr examples of different covers post them too. _________________ ...

I'm pretty shallow so an attractive girl on the cover catches my eye more than a cover that doesn't have 1.
But to be honest I tend not to impulse buy that much, I normally stick to stuff I think I'd like. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

The maid look does nothing for me except make me suspicious of the contents therein so it's not something that would exactly encourage me to buy it.
I wouldn't want to be seen taking that to a shop counter either so I'd only consider buying online if it were going cheap or something. Besides Kurau's a sci-fi show isn't it? I would've thought something related to the show's content would show it off best.
I'd say that to me covers only make a difference if it's a show I've never heard of (I've bought many a show pretty much on the blind in the past). If I already know a series from reviews/reputation then I'll buy regardless. |

Im the same theres some DVD covers i see and you just know they wont do well in the real-world shops because theyre a bit racy, Cutey honey and Colorful to name but a few, and some peopl would be a bit embarrised to buy them. then again saying that, I once served an old guy on the check outs who bought, a box of chocs, a bouquet of flowers, a box of rubbers and an economy sized bottle of lube!!!! _________________ Subtitles only!?
