Bleach series 4 part 1 - Not as good as the rescue Rukia ark, but I’m still liking it. I also like the new characters that have appeared.

Solty Rei volume 5 - The story is starting to come together now, and I’m loving it.

Darker Than Black volumes 3&4 - Continuing to be a really entertaining series. I especially liked the episodes about Yin’s past.

Always My Santa - Enjoyable Christmas fun.

Finished Piano, was a nice slow slice of life anime, I did struggle through a few episodes but overall I quite enjoyed the series.

I've been watching some Bamboo Blade and Sugar this week...

Bamboo Blade is great, gotta love them kendo-girls.

Sugar will make your teeth hurt, in a good way.

Been watching a combo of Negima(s2) and Ouran Host club.

Negima is enjoyable, as usual, and I found myself watching the full first disc in one sitting without realising and now Im getting to the episodes I hadnt seen originally which is great.

As for Ouran when I watched the full series when it first aired, I loved it. I wasnt expecting to like it as much second time around but the awesome dub just makes it as good as the first time.
Vic Mignogna as Tamaki is one of the best fits Ive heard for a dub and the rest of the cast are excellent too.

The only gripe I have with this is why didnt Manga put a signs sub track on this? They did it with Negima, even though it wasnt a menu option, so why not Ouran. Just a tad annoying having to flick on the full subs when I want to know what something says.

Finished Ruin Explorers.

A rather good Slayers-like 4 episode OVA. Was quite clearly a very early region 1 DVD release was rather low video and sound quality, but still the characters and story were very enjoyable would have loved to seen more.

Finished off Code Geass part 2 last week. A thoroughly enjoyable series from start to finish. I am really looking forward to R2. Also I’m wondering if R2 could be released in two half season sets, like season 1 was.

Slayers Try volume 3 - Not as good as the previous volumes, but I still enjoyed it.

Was able to replace my VCR as it died a couple months ago. To celebrate I threw in Mayku Senjo - and it was seriously bad! Not seen a show that awful in a long time... naff story, rubbish character, animation that even I could do better. The best part of this is the front cover which is actually quite striking.

Abysmal stuff, although I'd get volume 2 if I spotted it just to see if it can maintain its heading Shocked

Just finished UltraManic. A story about two friends one of whom just so happens to be a witch from the magical kingdom. Overall it was pretty light romantic comedy with a standard plot.

What I really enjoyed about it was that it had a lot of guest characters that only appear for 1 or 2 episodes who just made the show really funny. The episode where one characters cat is made human was hilarious.
