I tend to buy series well ahead of watching and as I've just kicked off my Studio Ghibli rewatch season, all 15 between now and Xmas, the following series will be pending until the new year:
Angelic Layer
Azumanga Daioh
Requiem From The Darkness
This Ugly Yet Beautiful World
So what does everyone else have hanging around for whatever reason? _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

Salary Man Kintaro, Dangaioh and Sol Bianca.
Kintaro Ive had since christmas, but just havent got round to it. Dangaioh, will probably get watched tonight, and sol bianca will follow.
All depends on how much work i can get done beforehand. _________________ "Lie back and think of England" |

| The last halves of Afro Samurai, Gundam SEED Destiny and Eureka 7, Kyo Kara Maoh, Basilisk. There is a lot more than that sitting around not being watched at the moment but those are the most likely to get watched in the immediate future. |

Hmm...
I don't usually have a backlog, but I have got half of Magic Users Club, Black Cat v3 and Pumpkin Scissors v1 waiting to be watched. _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

I've usually got a fair few in a backlog
FMA - all
Angelic Layer - all
Tenjo Tenge - all
Diamond Daydreams - all
Rumbling Hearts - all
Excel Saga - all but the first two episodes
Ninja Scroll TV -all
Hack//SIGN - all
Diamond Daydreams has been there for nearly a year now,
None of them I haven't not seen before eitehr asside from Diamond Daydreams. _________________ ...

Same here (I could count, but that'd make me depressed). There's been too many good sales over the last couple of years meaning a lot of stockpiling's been done!
There will be times in the future when money won't be as forthcoming (like moving house/getting a car or something) so they're a future investment I guess. |

I try to watch everything I own, but there is still a backlog that I fight against. It's not too bad when it comes to my own purchases though.
At the moment, I've got Azumangah Daioh, Dragon Half and Puni Puni Poemy waiting for me. I've got a far bigger backlog of review discs when it comes to anime right now.
And all that's nothing compared to the live action stuff that I still have to watch.
Now here's a question. When you buy a disc, do you stick it in to the player straight away to check it works, and is absent any physical damage, or do you let it fester in the cellophane only for an unpleasant surprise 6 months down the line?

Given my backlog, the latter, I let them fester, not in the cellophane though.
Not to jinx as I've never yet had any damged discs. _________________ ...

I normally check my DVDs to make sure they play a bit, then stick them in my pile.
Currently I've only really got Voltron volume one and Slayers series one which are anime in my "too watch pile".
I've a few live-action Asian films like "Once Upon a Time in China" box set (All the Jet-Li ones bar one), "Seven Swords", "Manga in Motion" box set (though I have already seen City Hunter). The rest comprise of Western shows/movies like House, Quincy and my huge Ronnie Barker box set. |

I hope that you mean you've seen them all except Diamond Daydreams, otherwise the universe will probably implode. _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

I always try to check the discs before throwing them into purgatory. |
