Coming in September:

Judging by the price, this looks pretty hardcore...

Aha, so they're pricing it like that..?

If things are like they said at LX, this is all 30 episodes, in a leatherette artbox, with possible physical or on-disc extras not present on the first boxes.

This is going by memory though.

That's spot on, it's going to be a very limited edition release, complete series + OAVs and will be crafted to resemble The Book of the Moon.

Physical extras I'll confirm in the near future - but there definitely will be a bundle!

Expect news on a few other box sets too soon Smile, including the complete Gundam Wing.

Check the top link again. More info has been added.

There'll be a soundtrack CD at least. Also some info on the packaging. Sounds weird but I think a piccy will clear things up some.

That pre-order price makes it a tempter as it's around the same price as buying the two current box sets. Smile

Just to confirm as the description is a bit vaguer than it should be - each set will be as follows:

- Fake leather book style box, styled like the book of the moon.
- Pages are covered with beautiful artwork and each page contains one volume of the seven volumes in the series.
- LE extra #1 - Wolf's Rain OST 1
- LE extra #2 - Limited Edition, EU exclusive Wolf's Rain artbook containing the production artwork and storyboards amongst other things from the series itself that last I checked will be hardbound but I need to confirm that.

Having seen their preorder price, you can see why it's good value for money now!

I'll be detailing this more at Amecon so look forward to seeing some of you there hopefully and will post up the images of the set after it hopefully Smile

If it is, it definitly looks good. I'd love to see pictures of the innards too.

Hmm - .pid .gif .BIG .gif - they really couldn't decide on a file extention for that one, could they?

In answer to both questions at once:

- The packing in the linked image is merely the outer casing, inside will look even better if you can imagine that!

- Fudce, your wish is my command.

Each volume will be individually numbered as well, only 500 released in the UK will make this a truely collectors release! I'll be bringing a few units to Expo so if interested, price will probably be a few quid less than Play.com's price to bring it to a round number Smile.[/url]

Well it's a fantastic series, the soundtrack is simply beautiful, and the collection is superb quality. Be tempted. Buy it. Give in to temptation. And I'll accept my payment in anime, Andrew.
