As the first half of the official EoE Dirty Dozen list is up, though it might be fun to get people's opinions on the positioning.
(Not sure if this is the best place to put this thread, so feel free to move it to a better area of the forum if need be.)
Here's the article in case you missed it on the main page:

Wasn't sure what to expect the results to be to be honest, but I was surprised as what was there. It's strange to see apparent heavy hitters like Le Chevalier D’Eon so low down! At least we aren't simply believing the hype.
Yay for me dragging down Ah My Goddess! and boo for Sgt. Frog being last! |

| So what's the betting that Paprika is fairly high up there. If it's not it certainly should be... That is definite must-haves for next year without a shadow of a doubt. |

Uh-oh...
(guess that's what happens when companies don't promote their shows!) |

Yep Paprika missed the cut off date (around late Nov) so wasn't even in the running (doh!) I was very surprised about Guyver being so low down as from the first round scores (what are used to whittle down some 25+ titles to the main 12) Guyver came third.
With there being new reviewers this year come really varid opinions like Goddess being pushed down the list by Chris's 1/5 the list is a little more irratic. With few truely even scores. _________________ ...

Nyahahahaa, I have no regrets!
Also apologies from me as I deliberately made my bits short as I thought that was what was needed for the article. I would've ranted a little more had I known it was fine to expand my arguments.
Looking forward to the next part. I wonder what's at the top (as well as what was relegated to 'honourable mention' status)? In regards to Paprika, I think it would have done really well had it made the deadline for the shortlist. Top 3 I reckon... |

So if it were your twelve what order would you put them in, bare in mind its not a coutdown of having seen them it's wanting to see them, and more importantly released here. _________________ ...

haha, love the fact that coyote ragtime is number one - nothing like cyborg maids to generate interest.
Is it just me that thinks the coyote ragtime advert on animenewsnetwork looks like mister is about to snatch the girl and engage in some kind of loli loving *looks mildly traumatised*.
I want to see more of Tokko now to see if it really is special or not! |

Godanner's score makes me sad, nearly half of it's points were just my vote!
Congrats to Coyote Ragtime for getting number one, didn't see that one winning! 3 shows getting the same score is pretty cool. Interesting mix of opinions throughout, some of which baffle me, but that's pretty much the point! |

| Having watched the first episode last night coutesy of IGN Coyote Ragtime looks to be a good show and definitely something to look for in 2007. Not one I had really heard much of before all the recent publicity being thrown at it by ADV. |
