Speculation
AoD seems to be having a severe case of bringing attention to S's and O's on their main page today. Further inspection points to every S or O being a link to this page.
Who knows, but it is certainly looking to be good news for all who give their lives to haruhiism
(time to fish out the Haruhi avatar again ) _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

SOS is the nickname of the brigade that Haruhi sets up to "save the world"...
It is looking like it could very well be FUNimation who have nicked this one. It was already mentioned that Haruhi would be licenced by the end of 2007 and that there were a number of negotiators for it. |

I still hope ADV has it, mainly because it would apparently piss people off (why would it piss people off? I have no idea, but the last time mumorings happened lots of people where getting all pissed about it) _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note

"Sekai wo Ooini moriagerutame no Suzumiya Haruhi no dan"
often translated as
"the Save the world by Overloading it with fun, Haruhi Suzumiya's Brigade"
the SOS-dan's logo is here:
I want ADV to get it too. _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

Yuppers, it's licenced by Kadokawa Pictures USA, in conjunction with Bandai Entertainment. Signs point to it being handled by Animaze!, which is good news for fans of the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex dub. (Animaze is speculation) _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

Judging by fan response, I must be the only one who'd never heard of it before. It better be worth the hype! |

No, it doesn't.
The agreement is US distributition rights where Kadokawa US resides. To my knowledge they have no direct link to the UK through any distribution companies or offices so it's in a bit of a limbo with regards to the UK/Europe. |

I too have never seen it, I downloaded the whole series on fansub but never got around to watching it, so now I'll just wait for the DVDs to get released state side and buy.
Partly why eyeonanime hasn't gotten caught up in all the hype,, I've never seen Haruhi ... _________________ ...
