I'm gonna try a little pigeonholling theory I've just thought of.

If a title fufills two of the following three criteria it's anime, if it only fils one it isn't

1 - must look like anime / typical anime style
2 - idea soursed from japan, written created by the japanese
3 - animated / produced (funded) in Japan

se if that matches any of your mindsets on different series Twisted Evil
