Hey Damo! Thought you (and anyone else local) might be interested in this:

After a break of over a year, the monthly NanimeW nights return, with a new venue and an expanded programme.

The first of the new nights will take place on Thursday 12 April 2007, upstairs in the café bar at the Greenroom on Whitworth Street, Manchester (beneath Oxford Road train station).

The nights showcase the best in Japanese pop cinema, animation and music. This month's main feature will be the anime film Mind Game (other screenings to be confirmed). Resident DJ Happosai and guest DJ Shirokuma will also be playing an eclectic mix of Japanese music.

The night will run from 8:00pm until midnight and is free-of-charge to attend. Over 18s only.

All screenings will be with original Japanese dialogue and English subtitles. The programme may be subject to change without notice.
