Thanks for the tip! 
I read in a paper over the weekend that Borders will be closing all their UK stores and just stick to the US market.
Gotta get a look in my local one. I'll also be keeping an eye out if they start closing down as well! |

That sucks, Borders is probably the best bookshop I know of. WHSmiths are too "up themselves" to stock manga, or anything other than best sellers, and Waterstones take too long to catch up to the trends.

Yes, its quite rare to see WHSmiths sell manga, i think its due to the old "Manga videos violent porn" thing of the mid 90s

I agree that Borders is the best bookshop around (especially the one in London *pause for gazing in awe*) but the Waterstones near me is fairly decent when it comes to trends etc. They hold Manga nights too - the next one is coming up in August. |

Both Waterstones in Birmingham (within a minutes walk from each other oddly) have decent manga sections, but their selection isn't all that great.

I went into my local one today and bought a whole bunch of stuff! More than I should of but never mind! 
More importantly I noticed the offer signs saying that the offer runs out on the 11th July which means only a few days are left to make the most of the deal! Glad I made it in time... |

So i guess the sale finishes on the 11th, or is last day is the 11th?

Can't remember how it was phrased, but I'd assume Wednesday (11th) should be alright. Go earlier just to be safe if you can though. |
