Borders bookshops clearout sale started a few weeks ago, but I went again today and it had expanded even more than before.

There was more manga in there and while originally marked down to £2.99 each, they are all now halved! I spent quite a bit on manga as they were now only £1.50 each (over 20 books Embarassed ).

I'm guessing that it'll be the same in other shops as well so might be worth a peek next time you go past one. (head for the orange clearout boxes)

No way!

Not after giving my bank account the colonic that it got today. Shocked

Well I might pop down a Borders, if I'm not doing anything this week. It'd be rude not to

I've since heard from someone else that not all Borders are doing this sale apparently, so perhaps it's only those with large overflows of stock?

(just a little warning in case it's just a one-off)

Not a lot of manga at Borders Lakeside today, some Peach Girl V5s and a couple of other random titles.

Did pick up a Japanese art and haiku calendar for 2008 though. £2 Smile

You went to the same shop I did! Shocked Kinda explains why you didn't find much as I'd already cleaned them out, lol! Embarassed

Stuff I remember leaving behind (mainly because I already had them) were Next World 2, various Get Backers, Peach Girl, Candidate Goddess and a volume of Peacemaker. (there was more but I don't remember)
