It's another Ghibli heads up.

Whisper of The Heart will be on

Monday 16th October at 17:05

and repeated on

Sunday 22nd October at 16:50

Judging by past experience,

the first showing should be the dub,
while the second will be in Japanese with English subtitles.

S'not my fault!

My EPG and Film4's website still have the dubbed version first, followed by the subbed.

Yet they showed the subbed today.

Complacent me didn't have a tape handy, and missed the first five minutes anyway Sad

Still, nice movie. Smile

Or, in another universe where people give things a fair chance, a nice shock.

Pah, not going to happen is it Sad

not to turn this into sub vs dub but Ghibli movies are infinitly better subbed. I haven't heard a good ghibli dub yet at least one that can rival the quality of Funi or ADV or the west coast's dubs.

Don't think Mark Hammil was in Nausicaa but he was in Laputa.

There's a fair few famous people in Princess Mononoke as well.

Hes in Castle in the Sky too. Shame they reidid the music in that for some reason.

I like the Ghibli dubs, especially Howls Moving Castle. Christian Bale is great in that.
