While wondering just when/if a new volume of Inu Yasha is going to get released over here I had a random thought.
Season box sets + Viz Media title = Manga
Do you think there'd be any chance that Fabulous Films could team up with Manga for a shared release? Kind of like how Manga and Bandai both worked on Stand Alone Complex.
I think it could work, and a damn few more people would buy it as well! |

I think that Fabulous were just testing the water, pointless really when they forgot to even advertise it. Frankly I'd be surprised if they even remember it at this point. _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

There is a major difference between the Bandai/Manga co-operation for GitS: SAC in that Manga licenced the anime for a UK release. This was just one of those fairly rare cases where the UK licence for a Bandai US product was not won by BEEZ in the UK. Since both Fabulous Films and Manga distribute to the UK then the proposition is not very likely to happen.
They could opt to sell the licence onto Manga but a shared distribution in a single market doesn't seem particularly workable. |

Bugger. I really hope more's released as I'm sure Viz Media would love to throw another one of their big titles at the UK market properly. |

They do seem to be releasing Inuyasha slightly haphazardly. I'd buy it all (oh the obsession!) but I have no idea when volume 2 is even out.
Plus I liked the multiple discs per volume thing - I like that sort of releasing.
By the way - did anybody have trouble with the subs on some of the episodes? I had perfect subs - but some horrible lag around episode 2. |

I watched it dubbed, and I found a couple of episodes where the sound wasn't in sync. (this was about episode 7/8 I think) |
