The .hack franchise is all aport of the one "hiole" but what about when they make an anime spin-off out of a game, Street fighter, ZOE, or the otehr way round when you see an anime and then hear there's a game.
When it comes to live action movies they miss more often than the hit, so what about anime's how do you find the anime after playing a game for years like SF:II or does an anime make you want to track down the game a-la gantz or Samurai Champloo.
How about the best and worst of each in each case?
has anybody seen the abomination that was the Tekken anime?

I still have the video!  It's bad but it makes me laugh so it's all good.
If it's an game to anime transistion, then it's normally just a load of fanservice.
If it's the anime first and then the game, the game's just a cash in.
I'm generalising badly here as there is some good stuff out there. (I just ordered the olf Street Fighter II DVD for £3.99  )
In terms of other spinoffs, a new Shin Megami Tensei manga just came out from Tokyopop. Unfortunately it's based on a game that was never translated in English...  |
