And that's because of a Witchblade trailer, not the main feature itself. Naughty MVM for bumping up the certificate! |

Sounds about right to me, lol. |
Actually, having just watched Shana vol.2, a 12 certificate fits the volume well. Whilst the majority of the volume was PG worthy, there were several instances of foul language that could easily make it incapable of a PG. _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

Are you sure? The BBFC would've mentioned that as well. |

I don't see where you are assuming that the rating was derived from the trailer. It doesn't specifically mention, so far as I can tell, which specific sections were considered in the classification, just that all aspects contribute to it. Moderate violence certainly fits the bill with this volume. Without giving too much away, at the very least Shana gets seven bells knocked out of her... |

Actually, the BBFC say otherwise. I e-mailed them a while back about Shana Vol 2, and this is the response I got back from them:
| Quote: | The '12' awarded to SHAKUGAN NO SHANA was on account of the trailer for the WITCHBLADE series which was included at the end of the work. This trailer
contained images of bloodshed and partial nudity accompanied by a menacing rock soundtrack. It was judged that it was too strong to be contained within our 'PG' guidelines, and as a result classified '12'. Although the trailer did not form part of the main feature, the feature and trailer were classified as one work and therefore the '12' rating applies to the overall work.
Yours sincerely,

Space Adventure Cobra is 4 minutes longer than the previous version. I think Lupin may be a different edit too. I had a look at the check disc, and the first thing I see is full frontal nudity. I don't know if it was originally like that... _________________ "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."

There is a bit early on with Fujiko in the shower though... unsure about Cobra. For a PG it got away with a lot so a 12's about right imo anyway. |

BTW, if you ever wonder about an rating the BBFC will normally tell you if you politely ask them via email. Could find out about the different ratings for the manga twosome that way _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note
