Basically, it has a rather cheeky panty shot on the front. Now as you see here Del Rey edited the cover in the US to cover said panty shot.

But, in the UK Tanoshimi have decided to play it diferently, as you can see here.

So, in the UK having a panty shot on the front cover is A-OK, while in the US it isnt.

I think things like that aren't really considered in the same way in the UK. I don't think, for instance, that the US has anything like Page 3 girls in mainstream newspapers and they probably wouldn't have many of the covers that the Daily Star likes to show in this country, many of which show "real" women in just their underwear.

There is also the lack of need for shrink-wrapping explicit material in this country, which is a requirement in the US. We both suffer from some level of censorship but the lines are just slightly between our standards.

I was a bit put-out, myself when Tokyopop decided that it wasn't acceptable to show the original cover used on the Japanese version:

Nice spotting that. A lot of people seem to bash Tanoshimi for one reason or another, so hopefully some people will notice this! Very Happy
