The thread on Kanacon inspired me to start one on the next Expo.

http://www.mcmexpo.net/midlandsmcmexpo/index.html

Anyone planning on going? (I'm not by the way) It's the first one at this venue so it'll be interesting to see what people think of it. Does anyone know if any of the anime companies are planning to make any special announcements there, or will they all be saving it up for the London Expo in May?

I might go, but as Fudce said it coems down to the guests, and I'm not talking VA's from naruto who haven't really done anythign else anime.

I didn't enjoy the oct/06 london Expo at all, so am reluctant to bother going now.

I only go to spend money, I loves me bargains I do! The rest of it doesn't bother me that much to be honest. (and no, I'm not willing to cosplay!)

aw... but you'd make a lovely sailor moon!

I've never been to London Expo, nearly went in october but decided against it last minute. Am likely going to the one in May, however since it looks like Vic Mignogna is going there (and I want to get a fourth signature on my Aquarian Age box)

Ah if Vic Mignogna will be at the London Expo in May I'll be there I'd love to get his, and pretty much ADV/Funi va's autographs.

Autograph collection currently stands at five different VA's.

Two more than mine then, only the obvious three... but by the end of the month, in all likelyhood I'll have an additional eight.

One week to go!

(wonder how many people will show?)

It'll be interesting to see if Revelation make an appearance or not. They've yet to make their convention debut! I'm guessing no as they've only been at it a month...

I am not sure how many of the anime companies will be there since this is a fairly small (-ish), one-day affair. I may try an make it but will probably only make that decision on the day or the day before.

Not gonna be going to this one, it's a small event which will cost me an arm and a leg if I go, and there's no anime guests to tempt me either.

So for those who are interested, they got about 4k through the door on the day, which is pretty damn good for a first time event. We're posting our videos of the event next week - the trailer is up on our YouTube page, so you can see what it was like.
