Some of you might remember a thread that was ran not long after the forum re-started, well that has inspired and helped to form this new article (part 1 of 2) "The essential guide to being labelled the ultimate anime 'fan' "

Now comes the tricky part!

Come on admit to how many you've done. Twisted Evil (So far) Twisted Evil and I'm sure we all know of fans who've done some of them too.

1 - does BVUSA count as major?

6, 9 (shes a catbit!), 12, 17 (i do that quite often), 34, 35 (suprising how even models of kids have them), 38 (BBFC and play.com please stand up), 49,

Not as bad as i thought.

4, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 34, 35, 36, 38, 40, 42, 46, if you wanna count the VHS days in my first couple of months of fandom. 50, (I guess I'm guilty of that one on occation.

There's a lot more I'm half guilty of and a hell of a lot more I know other people of being guilty of.

4 - bought quite a few shows multiple times.
12 - I am currently seriously short of shelf space so I could probably fill one up within an hour.
19
34 - Currently got a Rozen Maiden wallpaper on my PC at the moment.
35 - There is so much that is wrong with this. Of course many models come with optional skirts and I have a few with optional tops as well, which is way too wrong! Shocked
38.

Let's see my claim to shame...

1. Buena Vista. I wouldn't touch their Ghibli titles with a barge pole, and imported from Australia a couple of months before Optimum got them.

4. Ghost In The Shell, VHS, Sound sync error, Special edition. Got three Tenchi Muyo V1s as well somehow.

5. Kiddy Grade is *not* a good name for a series. Razz

10

12. I could fill a shelf in minutes with anime. It's mostly floorbound right now.

16.

17 & 18. Duh Laughing

19. 23.

28. I have to review the things.

29.

31. Do lighting farts count?

34. Mmmm Naru! Very Happy

38. 39.

43. see 28

50. More a hope than a belief. I'd love to see adults turn into children when embarrassed.

I'm a lightweight!

Wow, even with the skew, I'm ticking a lot of boxes.

Since other people are breaking it down...

9: Get it right Ian, it's not a Catbit, it's a Cabbit.
12: I've now bought 5 new shelving units for anime.
16: Con-e-chi-wa?
19: Before I was an anime nut, I was a complete Final Fantasy Freak. I've toned down now, thankfully.
22a: Tsukihime Lunar Legend falls into that, and now I'm glad I did buy it.
23: "Hai", plus several others.
24: I really have answered it Moshi Moshi - to a salesperson no less.
25: several times, without thinking
34: I even have one on my PSP
35: Doesn't everyone?
36: "V!" as a greeting/sign of victory, rather than a sign of peace. Also I seem to nod my head/bow a lot more.
38: I am the release date guru, I know a lot of news before even it gets onto forums!
39: The import market is better than our market. That doesn't stop me supporting the local market however.
40: What is there not to like about Angelic Layer?
41: If you gotta have it, you've gotta have it NOW! It's an Ironclad rule for gals! (and otaku)
43: I complained about several licences Media Blasters got, due to their "sub-only" nature recently.
47: Goes without saying in our region.

3 - Gotta comment on this one as I've never done this infact I make a point that they're toys.

4 - Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 - Video, US brick, US Essential anime version, UK brick.

5 - Can't remember when/where but I know I've done this.

9 - Oh yes many a hour musing over the species of Ryo-Ohki it's a cat face with big ears but hops and eats carrots WTF!!!

11 - never done this one but come pretty darn close if you went to Amecon2004 and saw the communal shower room that was lifted straight out of a horror film, you'd understand, thankfully the rooms had sinks.

12 - done this very recently, Billy's from Ikea

16 - oh yes, sorry "hai"

19 - FF:VI played back on the snes over my school cummer holiday.

26 - yep worn cat ears but never said it was cosplay though.

34 - always got some anime themed wallpaper or other.

35 - come on who doesn't

36 - I do the hand clap prayer thing

38 - duh!

40 - what you don't like Ah My Goddess - you have no soul. + many other shocked statements.

42 - did about 5 seconds worth and gave up.

46 - At the very start of my fandom with Manga's VHS titles, only lasted a couple of months though.

67 B - cept to my parents

51 - Thighhighs, Very Long Hair, Catgirls (amongst others!)
52 - Repeatedly
58 - His & Her Circumstances comes to mind
62 - It's true, it's true. Use the above fetishes to make your guesses!
63 - Whenever someone claims that a dub sucks on Raptures forums! (great place to blow off steam)
64 - Kashimashi comes to mind. Girl's High too.
65 - Kaleido Star. I just couldn't stay away.
66 - I've tried the "character drawing tutorials", and decided that I suck
67 - Surely noone is gonna answer "yes" to 67A? Is 1 DVD, and 2Gb of pictures a collection? Razz
72 - Only recently. I bought a Justice Gundam.
73 - Media Blasters, sub-only, and yes.
74 - Low rent, free laundry service, and free meals? HELL YEAH!
76 - Yup.
77 - Again, yeah. Kashimashi, for the reason stated above.
78 - I didn't realise a cheaper version of the soundtrack existed, ok?
88 - Tsubasa Chronicle is a prime example
89 - The AUK DVD Awards is sort of "anime themed"...
92 - "Ah-sue-car" really used to bug me. It's Aska! (Asuka)
94 - I continue to try to mimic Subaru from Comic Party, with no success.
95 - Eden's Bowy. Nuff said.
98 - "But the DVD says 'Manga'..." AAARGH!
99 - We all have at some point?
100 - I have converted several people

yikes. That was scary.

Not guilty of 55 myself, but I know someone who's hamster was called "Excel Excel"
I would never be guilty of 80.
