Sorry if this has been posted before!

ADV have release dates for 2 more box sets:

Azumanga Daioh - 1st Oct 2007
http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3437520/Azumanga-Daioh-Complete-Collection/Product.html

Full Metal Panic! - 5th Nov 2007
http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3437623/Full-Metal-Panic-Complete-Collection/Product.html

Anyone know if they usually include the original booklets with the collections? I'm tempted by the AzuDai set but I'd really like the inserts with the translation notes, etc in them.

ooh, good find. I've known that the Azumanga Daioh was coming in October for quite a while, but wasn;'t sure when in October.

Someone should ask Hugh about the booklets at Amecon this week, we'll find an answer for you.

RRP is £69.99

£10 per disk isn't bad, considering singles RRP is £19.99

A couple of volume ones have appeared too.

Red Garden vol 1 - 01/10/2007

009-1 vol 1 - 15/10/2007

I'll be getting the Chrono Crusade box set, £55.99 works out at £8 per disk which is reasonable for a box set.

It's probably just that I've been spoilt with the low prices, deliberate and otherwise, of box sets this year. She, The Ultimate Weapon for £9.99, Heat Guy J for £7.99, Boogiepop for £19.99 etc. which were just plain silly.

There's so many that I want to get that it just seems to add up to a lot is my problem. Even if per disk they're cheap all together is a fair whack.

I'll probably end up picking up some of the these box sets, well the MVM ones, I have the ADV series. Anyway the price for me always feels like an expensive sting, because its' all in one chunk. I never reccon on the total cost fo the singles beign a lot more becasue that cost is spread over 12 months for 6-7 discs.

Azu Dai should get picked up by all but probably wont contain the booklets as ADV repackage into a 6disc m-lock case, all the on-disc extras will be there.
