Just Passing Through

You know that credit's crunching when PlayUSA are the cheapest for importing region 1 anime. But they are offering Ah My Goddess Season 2, and Welcome to the NHK for the same price as DVD Pacific, but with free P&P.

So I'd save about four quid on a package.

But... I haven't been stung by customs yet on DVD Pacific, so I might go with that if PlayUSA have a more than 50% hitrate by Her Majesty's government.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Not used Play USA before, but doesn't the minimum customs charge on imported DVDs go up to over £100 quid pretty soon?

Customs yes, not VAT though, that stays at £17.99 and will be payable on everything that gets caught by Mount Pleasant.
