£15.99 sounds like a good price to me. It's labelled incorrectly as volume 2, but don't think it should cause any confusion later on:

Most of the other recently announced boxes are on there at good prices as well (Crest of the Stars, Stratos 4, Scryed, Fantastic Children, Gundam Seed), but reckoned this was the highlight as it's the only new title of the lot. |

So discounted online UK price OWNs the discounted US price.
Hehehe. Anyone who got it from the Us be kicking themselves right about now, and just because it meant they supporting BVUSA.... _________________ Avatar: Seras Victoria from Hellsing: Ultimate

I'm pretty tempted by the Crest of the Stars boxset.
One disc for all of though?! Guess that means no extras! |

Well...went on for a quick peek, and ended up buying Whisper of the Heart, Nausicaa and Kiki's Delivery Service, which will be good as I've never seen any of them.
Thanks for pointing me in HMV's direction, I tend to avoid them, so would have missed it! |

Good choices, 3 of my favourites.
No idea if you're a dub or sub person but, without wanting to rekindle the debate, you should watch Whisper Of The Heart subbed even if it's only that one. Ideally all 3 but that's my personal preference. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

Three of my favorite Ghibli films, a great choice. I do however want to voice my opposition to Random's sub-suggestion for Whisper of the Heart. You should watch it in both languages, as the sub is obviously good (Random seems to like it) and the dub was one of the best dubs of 2006. Can I just say Random, you do sound like your trying to force your preferences on other people and without trying to sound harsh, that is one of things I hate about the sub-only crowd.
People like watching things dubbed and subbed. Theres no need to go round saying "you should watch it this way, its better" which is what I get out of your post.
PaleBlack, if you have Freeview (or Sky or cable) quite a few of the Studio Ghibli,(and a couple of pre-Ghibli, films by Ghibli staff) are shown on FilmFour every so often. I think my mum has seen them all more often than I have now, lol.....
Oh and GunBuster 2 is 2 discs, not sure where HMV got one disc from. _________________ Avatar: Seras Victoria from Hellsing: Ultimate

No one's forcing choices on anybody, in fact if anybody says "you should try it in ..." reguarding any title in either language then technically they are forcing their own prefference.
Would it be better if I as a dub fan said Whisper' is better subtitled? becasue it is.
Fudce is right watch both. _________________ ...

Hmm well I did also say that it was my personal preference, AND that it might only be that one she watched subbed. As Toraman says if I feel that a film benefits from being watched subbed rather than dubbed then I am voicing an opnion not forcing anyone to do anything. Stop being so touchy. _________________ When people fail at being alive, they die.

Okay guys, let's be nice to each other!
I'll watch it subbed, as I'm a sub person. But I'll probably listen to a bit of the dub at some point, so I know what I'm missing.
So let's all be happy |

What in the who said what? It wasn't me! (was it? I'm not sure now!)
*hides from dub v sub debate*
Meh, my opinion's the same: If it's anime I'll watch, though tiredness/laziness dictates switching to the dub track unless it's really really bad. Love Hina dub ftw! |

Lol! (though I was scared for a minute there!)
Btw, I thought Whisper of the Heart's dub gave the singing section's a damn good try (it's pretty much my favourite Ghibli film). It pulled off the rhyming much better than they did in Pom Poko anyway... |
