I know why that happens but is not that easy to fix it has some thing to do with how pages are loaded, I'm looking into it, but if you don't stop the page loading you shouldn't notice it  |

| It would be the way the CSS for the banner is defined. the background image is presumably repeat-x or something similar and until the rest of the page has finished loading and the banner's final size has been calculated you would get something like Ian posted. |

The image is in the background of the cell it's in, rather than just a placed image, roll your mouse over it you can't save it as an image but as a background, so yeah it will repeat it's cell because it has to be adaptive to the length of the quote which depeding on font size / length of quote can push the page down.
Thing is though does it really matter? come on there wont be a webstie out there that doesn't have it's loading quirks if you stopped it loading mid run and that's really the only time you're gonna notice it.
Eyeonanime is massively over-complicated enough without trying to fix a quirk that doesn't really need fixing.

No I'm not ranting at you, it does look pretty funny, it is quirky but the thread is turning into that it's a technical fault that needs fixing when it's just something quirky that happens when the site loads slowly.
I'm overreacting and smacking it back with a sledgehammer.
Guess I need an extended break...
I will tell you, use what I said about the image and have a look at the full Ai chan images
