Sounds good to me.
Judging by Yen Press' track record so far a UK release should be for certain, but next time I'm in contact with them I'll see if they can confirm anything. (though looking at the potential release dates there's no hurry I guess) |

Looks good, but I'm not impressed by the 2009 estimate for the haruhi novels.. Ah well, good things and waiting _________________ UK Anime DVD of the Month Awards

I got a mail from Yen Press yesterday and yes, they will definitely be releasing Haruhi over here.
I only just noticed that this had already been mentioned on the animeondvd forums (which confirms a simultaneous release as well), but it's good to hear it direct from the UK branch as well. |

Sweet. Nice to hear some confirmation (of sorts)
Now if they could release Sundome and Spiral a bit quicker
edit - heres the AoD post -
| Quote: | | The UK will see both the novels and manga release simultaneously with the North American publications. This is something we attempt to do with all of our titles. They will be sold through our sister imprint, Orbit, and distributed through Little, Brown UK. |
Is it me, or is the UK getting taking more seriously now? TP have always treated it well, Viz wrestled control back from Orion books and are really easy to get in the UK now and of course Yen Press have done this from the start....
Only one still a bit errrey are Del-Rey/Tanoshimi. _________________ Avatar: Misa Amane from Death Note
