That's my main reasoning too. The only VIZ series I have, is Read or Die/Dream.

I'll be getting Naruto when it's caught up with where I am (volume 7). Might check out Death Note just to see what all the hype is ablout.
Possibly Ceres Celestial Legend. Once I find out more on the shojo titles, more may come. (the shonen titles are already known to me so I know where I stand with them at least)
Knowing what I'm like all it'll take is a healthy 3 for 2 or BOGOF offer and I'll ignore all that and buy loads more!  |

I might check out Death Note too, but im always wary of the Shonen Jump line.
Yes i know its a "Shonen Jump Advanced" title, but im still wary of them

Is that because of the stigma that many Shonen Jump are edited, or because most of these titles are heavily promoted and hyped beyond whether they're actually any good or not (or something unrelated to all that?)? |

Well, I personally found Death Note a fairly refreshing change. It is kind of inverse to most other comics and manga (you will probably understand what I mean if you happen to read it.) |

Saw these in my local Waterstones today. They're not officially not out until Monday I think, but they were on the side waiting to be put out.
It's bascially the Viz copy with a '£5.99' sticker bunged on the back, much like how Tokyopop did theirs back in the day (you know, those ones that left a sticky patch when they come off  ). Maybe once they catch up the UK price will be added to the backs.
Also look out for a snazzy stand with Naruto on it that they'll be filing them in. |
